Majestic Princess is a Royal-class cruise ship currently operated by Princess Cruises, a subsidiary of Carnival Corporation & plc. Built by Fincantieri in Monfalcone, Italy, she is the third Royal-class ship in the fleet and debuted in April 2017.
Majestic Princess is the first Princess Cruises ship designed specifically for Chinese guests and thus will feature a combination of new elements tailored for the Chinese market, along with many of Princess Cruises’ premium points of distinction.
Like her sister ships (Royal and Regal Princess), Majestic Princess have a large multi-story atrium, live music venues, plenty of specialty dining, and SeaWalk, the exclusive glass-floored extending out beyond the edge of the ship.
Majestic Princess also includes the popular Princess Class experience. Designed specifically for the Chinese market, Princess Class delivers a variety of unique onboard entertainment and education opportunities to help guests make the most of their experience cruising through Asia.
Onboard entertainment is offered nightly and ranges from Broadway-style shows to more standard trivia nights and game shows. These are complemented by an abundance of live musical performances throughout the ship, from the Majestic Princess Ensemble performing jazz in the Piazza atrium to piano performances in the Crown Grill Bar.
Majestic Princess is a musical ship by night; don’t be surprised to find yourself bypassing the more flashy production shows to sip a glass of wine in the Piazza instead.
Passengers may also be pleasantly surprised at just how much top-deck space Majestic Princess offers. There is an abundance of open space throughout, with some fabulous vantage points offered from Deck 18 forward and aft, and of course, the hidden gem that is the Wake View Bar aft on Deck 16.
This sheltered outdoor bar is perfect in inclement weather and is rarely found by most passengers. Access it through the aft elevator lobby if you don’t want to cross through the World Fresh Marketplace buffet.
