MSC Virtuosa is a Meraviglia-Plus class cruise ship owned and operated by MSC Cruises. Built by Chantiers de l’Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire, France, she is the second ship in the Meraviglia-Plus class and sister ship to MSC Grandiosa

MSC Virtuosa’s namesake comes from the word virtuoso, meaning someone highly skilled in any field of activity, and so MSC Virtuosa was named to pay homage to the skill and expertise of the MSC Cruises architects and shipyard partners at Les Chantiers de l’Atlantique who designed and built this innovative class of ships.

This new cruise ship is one of the two largest in MSC Cruises fleet, along with her sister ship MSC Grandiosa,  boasting an impressive array of guest features all coming together in perfect harmony to deliver the ultimate cruise holiday experience.

MSC Virtuosa cruise ship deck plan shows 2421 staterooms for 4810 passengers (max capacity is 6334) served by 1704 crew-staff. The boat has 18 decks (15 passenger-accessible, 11 with cabins), 14 restaurants and food bars (including 5x MDRs dining rooms and 5x specialty), 21 lounges and bars, 4 swimming pools (1x sliding roof-covered, 1x MSC Yacht Club), 9 Jacuzzis (outdoor whirlpool hot tubs), 32 elevators (19 passenger lifts, including 1x MSC Yacht Club and 2x panoramic / glass-walled lifts in the Atrium).

MSC Virtuosa decks are named after the world’s most famous composers.
