The 2022 Honda CB500F comes with a 471cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, capable of generating up to 47 HP (35 kW) of maximum power. The available colors are Grand Prix Red, Pearl Smoky Gray, Mat Axis Gray Metallic, and Pearl Dusk Yellow.

Honda launched in Europe the 2022 model of the ‘naked’ CB 500F, which arrives with USD Showa front forks, double disc brakes, and more updates. Honda’s A2-compatible mini-streetfighter receives major performance-focused improvements for 2022 and it is ready to take the roads.

For 2022, the CB500F receives new Showa Big Piston USD forks & updated rear shock setting to match, new twin Nissin front disc brakes, tweaked weighting & bias (to make it balanced around 50/50), new LED headlight, revised fuel injection settings, and a striking new ‘Pearl Dusk Yellow’ colorway.

Updates galore in 2022 – yet these updates add to a formula that has been serving riders well since it first hit the market in 2013.

The mini streetfighter has an aggressive nature on the road, but it’s still just as comfortable to ride with a slightly leaned forward riding position, wide bars, and a capable A2-compliant motor propelling you along.

Honda put the CB500F on a diet. It dropped four pounds to 416 pounds with the 4.5-gallon fuel tank topped off.

That’s an inverted 41mm Showa SFF-BP fork taking care of suspending the front of the 2022 Honda CB500F.                                                                                  Although it’s non-adjustable, the Split Function Fork-Big Piston unit makes the most out of the Honda engineer’s fixed factory settings. There’s also less flex in the inverted fork, so handling should be more precise.

Twin 296mm discs replace the single 320mm disc in the front. Nissin four-piston calipers grasp the discs at the direction of the rider. For superior feel and power, the calipers are now radially mounted.

In the back, there’s a new swingarm that is lighter, while not sacrificing rigidity. Two pounds of unsprung weight were saved.

Sorry, but we only have photos of the European CB500F. You probably noticed the license plate holder.

You will pay an additional $200 for these upgrades. The MSRP of the 2022 Honda CB500F ABS is $6699. Matte Gray Metallic is the only color choice.
