Construction on the 118-meter flagship Abeking 6507 yacht is underway in Hamburg where Abeking & Rasmussen celebrated the project’s keel-laying milestone this week in the presence of the project’s owners, representatives, designers, and shipyard staff during a private ceremony.
The 6507 Yacht is the largest yacht ever to be built by the German shipyard, outweighing the 98.4-meter motor yacht Aviva from 2017.
ABEKING 6507 Yacht is built with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, with teak decks. Her low draft makes her primed for accessing shallow areas and cruising close to the shorelines. She was built to Lloyds Register classification society rules.
