Yas Yacht was delivered in 1978 by De Schelde as a navy frigate, Yas Yacht was rebuilt in 2013 by Abu Dhabi MAR. Previously known under the project name Swift 141, she was completely modified with new machinery and electronic systems and outfitted with a luxurious interior. It has been suggested that her owner is a member of the Emirati royal family.

The  Yas Yacht is one of the largest superyachts in the world. Yas has a length of 141 m (463 ft). The unique superstructure of Yas is built-in advanced composites and glass and was supposedly inspired by the profile shape of a dolphin. She is reportedly able to accommodate 60 guests and 56 crew, and on-board features include a helipad and al fresco dining spaces aft, and a jacuzzi on her top deck.

Her beach club jacuzzi is complemented by a waterfall feature and a spiral staircase connects her to the multiple decks. Powered by twin MTU diesel, Yas has a top speed of 26 knots.
