The Rising Sun Yacht was built for Larry Ellison, co-founder, and CEO of Oracle. Rising Sun was the last yacht that ever came from designer Jon Bannenberg’s drawing board, and her interiors styled by Laura Seccombe. Rising Sun’s naval architecture experimented with extensive use of structural glass for a clean and stripped-down profile.
It reportedly cost over US$ 200 million to build. Rising Sun can accommodate 16 guests and she has 45 crew. Her interior is designed by Bannenberg & Rowell Design. The Rising Sun yacht is seen here in 2011 in the bay of Cannes.
