The Bombardier Global 6500 has a range of 6,600 nm–an increase of up to 1,300 nm–thanks to increased engine thrust and overall fuel efficiency. In the cockpit is the Bombardier Vision flight deck avionics suite, including Multi-scan weather radar, wide-area augmentation system, area navigation systems, and graphical flight planning systems.
A total of 19 Global 6500 business jets have been built. As of March 2020, only one is in operation and it is registered in the Cayman Islands. One delivery position is for sale with the order holder in the Virgin Islands; the remaining jets have a Certificate of Airworthiness and are yet to be completed by the manufacturer.
