American Star (2007-built) is one of the oldest ACL-American Cruise Lines ships – together with American Spirit (2004) and Independence (2010).

The 100-passenger American Star made its debut in the summer of 2007, similar to its fleet-mate American Spirit though it includes a few more modern touches like flat-screen satellite TV and DVD payers in all cabins. American Star sails a variety of six-, seven- and 14-night itineraries to regions along the East Coast from Maine to Florida.

American Star cruise ship deck plan shows 4 passenger decks (3 with cabins), a total of 47 staterooms, Vestibule (midship Atrium area), Dining Salon (Restaurant), Chesapeake Lounge Bar, Midship Lounge, Library Lounge, Passenger Decks (outdoor spaces), Wheelhouse (Navigation Bridge), Sundeck (with Outdoor Gym, Putting Green, Sun Shade seating area).

The American Star has been a classic choice when cruising the east coast for a few years, quickly becoming a favorite of our clients. American Star offers guests a friendly and accommodating atmosphere, a hallmark of American Cruise Lines.

From charming small towns to gracious ports, American Star brings guests to places of historic interest and magnificent beauty. Onboard, enjoy personalized service and gracious hospitality provided by an attentive, all-American staff.

The American Star sets itself apart from the competition with a complimentary social hour featuring hot and cold hors d’oeuvres and dinner options that include fresh regional seafood. Half of the double cabins offer small private balconies, a unique feature on coastal ships.
