The 121m/397′ Oceanco Y722 Yacht is due to be launched by Oceanco in the Netherlands. The motor yacht ‘Oceanco Y722’ is built with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, with teak decks. Her low draft makes her primed for accessing shallow areas and cruising close to the shorelines.
The Oceanco Y722 Yacht is known to be a three-masted schooner with a bowsprit. These first images of the yacht show a black-hulled vessel with classic lines, not dissimilar to the 90-meter 2004 Royal Huisman three-masted sailing yacht Athena and the 92.92-meter Lürssen sailing yacht Eos, launched in 2006.
While the vessel is the largest ever built at Oceanco, she is not the shipyard’s first super sailing yacht. The shipyard has demonstrated its prowess in the sector with the construction of the 86-meter Aquijo, launched in 2016, as well as the 106.7-meter Black Pearl, which was launched in 2018.
The 106.7-meter sailing yacht with Dynarig solar-paneled sails is without doubt one of the most recognizable vessels in the world.
